Lent is a season of preparation, sacrifice and commitment leading to the celebration of resurrection. It begins on February 22nd. During this season you are encouraged to "give up" something (sacrifice) and say "yes" to something (commitment). The goal is to create space in our lives to hear God's voice and shine his light. It is one of the oldest traditions on the church calendar. We believe it still has meaning and value for us today as we create space for pursuing God's presence.
